Summer is here!

Today is Father's Day, which means that I am sitting on the couch watching hubs play video games :) Before we had Jax, he had a lot more time to sit and play. While I was pregnant and huge, we would both sit on the couch for hours and I would just watch him play. Looking back, it seems pretty pathetic! But having a newborn-->baby-->toddler isn't very conducive to sitting and doing nothing for hours on end. So hubs rarely gets a chance to "relax" (his words). Because I love him so, we went to Red Lobster for lunch (gross), and this evening he's been able to play video games since Jax went to sleep. So, I'm sitting here enjoying the chance to catch up on some pictures that I've been promising y'all!

It has been hot, hot, hot and there's nothing more refreshing than a watermelon

We bought a slip n slide, and hubs would push Jax down and he'd go flying toward the end. He loved it... of course!

We got a new, larger inflatable pool (that can actually fit more than one adult) so we've been spending a lot of time in it!

We've discovered that Jax very much prefers to be naked in the pool. He apparently doesn't like wet clothes. But he sure loves bouncing his naked self against the sides!

OF COURSE we had to get Otter Pops!

I thought this was the cutest thing! Jax was "helping" daddy water some plants :)

We've also spent time playing with the trains at Barnes and Noble

We've taken advantage of our membership to the kids museum downtown

We visited a local farm where you get to feed all the animals. Jax wanted to hold the bucket and feed the animals by himself. He did a great job!

Taking a break on Daddy's shoulders

Hi-fiving his friend Jayden

How nasty is that tongue?!

We've also spent a lot of time at the park in our neighborhood. Grammy took Jax down there almost every morning. He loved walking Mojo around.

He also loved pulling his wagon. I was so impressed because that thing is not small!

Of course we've spent time relaxing at home... and playing dress up in daddy's hat and glasses :)

Grammy took this picture. He loved having her here!

I hope y'all made it to the end. I know it was a ton of pictures! I'm mostly caught up now. I will do a separate post with pictures from the ER the other night. His eye is healing well and the tape is starting to come off. I can't wait for it to come off completely so I can clean it up a little bit. Jax also starts gymnastics tomorrow, so I hope to have some fun pictures from that!!

Happy Father's Day!
